Who are we?

The public website concerned is XBirds.eu. Information relating to the editor, publication director and hosting provider is set out in the Legal notice.

Personal data that may be collected

Following the structure observed on the SpaceDrone website, XBirds.eu distinguishes between data voluntarily submitted and technical operating data. The website may therefore process:

• information entered in the contact form: first name, last name, organisation, email address, subject and message content;
• technical security data such as IP address, browser type, user agent and connection logs when necessary for abuse prevention, diagnostics or service security;
• technical or preference cookies required for proper website operation.

Features not open to the public

Unlike the SpaceDrone website, XBirds.eu does not currently offer public comments, user accounts or visitor media uploads. If such features are added later, this policy will be updated to specify the data collected, recipients and associated retention periods.

Purposes of processing

• answer messages and requests sent through the website;
• follow up commercial, institutional, industrial or partnership discussions;
• preserve website security, integrity and availability;
• analyse technical incidents and prevent abusive or malicious uses.

Legal bases

Depending on the case, processing relies on the editor’s legitimate interest in answering incoming requests and securing the service, on pre-contractual steps initiated by the data subject, or on consent where consent is required.

Cookies and trackers

Where cookies are used, they are intended for website operation, storage of certain preferences or navigation security. Detailed information is available in the Cookies page. At this stage, the website is not intended to deploy advertising trackers.

Embedded content and third-party services

As recalled by the SpaceDrone privacy policy, content embedded from third-party services, for example a video, image or externally hosted resource, may behave as if the visitor were browsing that third-party website directly. Such services may collect technical data, place cookies or track interactions according to their own policies.

Recipients of data

Data is accessible only to persons authorised to process the request within the XBirds organisation and, where necessary, to service providers involved in hosting, messaging, maintenance, security or unwanted submission protection.

Retention periods

Messages sent through the contact form are retained for the time necessary to process and follow up the request, then deleted or archived in accordance with applicable obligations. Technical logs are kept for a limited period proportionate to their security or diagnostic purpose. Technical cookies are retained for their own lifetime, generally limited to the session or to a maximum period of twelve months depending on function.

Transfers

The website is not intended to organise transfers of personal data outside the European Union. If a provider implying such a transfer were to be used, the safeguards required by applicable regulations would be implemented and this page would be updated.

Your rights

You may request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, object to certain processing operations or, where the law provides, exercise your right to data portability. You may also set instructions regarding the fate of your data after death.

To exercise your rights, you may use the contact form. Proof of identity may be requested only when strictly necessary to prevent disclosure to an unauthorised third party.

Complaint to the supervisory authority

If, after contacting the controller, you believe your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority, in particular the CNIL in France.

Security

Appropriate technical and organisational measures are implemented to reduce the risk of loss, alteration, unauthorised access or disclosure. However, the public website must not be used to transmit classified, trade-secret or particularly sensitive information.
